Recorded on a sun soaked summer day, this project captures BOI's first professionally recorded DJ set, spinning records in the place he grew up, surrounded by familiar sounds and scenery. The session marks the beginning of an ongoing series, with plans to record in different locations, each reflecting a distinct sense of place. For this first chapter, the choice felt natural, house music that feels like home, set against the backdrop of the artist’s roots.
